Right, I thought I might share my lifts with everyone.

My lifts to date, all are 1RM

Bench:
210 kg (462)

Squats:
275 kg (605)

Deadlift:
280 kg (616)

workout 1
------------
M. bench
T. squat
W. - rest
Th. - rest
F. dead
S - rest

workout 2
------------
M. squat
T. - rest
W. bench
Th. - rest
F. dead
S. - rest

workout 3
-----------
squat
-
bench
-
dead
-
bench
-

The latter (3) is an 8 day cycle, in which you bench twice in 8 days. This allows for somewhat faster bench progress, taking advantage of the fact that upper body generally recovers faster than lower body.

Good strength---for anyone---is a 600 lb squat, 400 lbs bench, and 600 lbs deadlift. These are the sort of lifts a good college level athlete is capable of, if they trained for it.

Good powerlifter strength is those weights + 100 lbs, and the strength level good high school level athletes are capable of is those weights - 100 lbs.

I ignore the weight of the lifter above, but I'm talking about someone weighing at least 200 lbs.

More generally, squat and deadlift 3 x bodyweight and bench 2 x bodyweight is good strength for a power lifter. That is nearly national level.

Nice lifts, are these comp lifts or personal best?
I did some powerlifting myself years back, I think every bodybuilder should start with power lifting.

All has not been well I got a small pec tear so I decided to give my body a much needed rest, after nearly two weeks off i'm ready to tear down the gym, my chest is still a bit tender but I will proceed with caution, I need the feel of iron in my hands.
